hi.., my traditional (oil) painting session inspired me to paint this digital piece.
few refs were browsed through before the start, but didnt really follow any. major concern was to have an expanse with rich, inviting greens under blue, cloudy sky, all in all a natural, fresh feel.

hi.., sharing a recent work "Glittery - Karachi Port", done after visiting the project site im working on, surely a breathtaking view at sunset and night and its always
a mesmerizing mood for me whenever im there at that time.
this has been done for the project as well as for my ownself, hence ive made some deliberate changes as per the needs, but largely, this is the scene of port we get to experience when viewed from one of the many points at the site.
combination of real life sketches and drawings, consulting photos that i took and lots of imagination to give it a particular look i was after.

hello there.., sharing a matte painting ive made recently, titled, "Memories remain". ive used photo elements combined with painting and have used my own custom made brushes through out.
i went for something moody, bearing a forlorn state, hence ive decided to choose the sun setting moments and have kept the ruins in a warm setting, which for me, adds a lot to the feel i was looking for.

hello there.... handled in an impressionistic fashion, in terms of style and the subject, "Inviting - Stream". painted using tablet, in artrage and painter with touch of photoshop.
refs for foliage were consulted before start. treated very spontaneously and with a pure painterly approach and my goal was to make the spot to have a welcoming feel for the viewer. little distance would be cool to keep while viewing.

hello there, sharing a still life in an environment, "My favorite corner - Still life". i like spots and corners (in a room), where i see beautiful still life arrangments are kept, they look so artistic and calm, esp when they have soft mood/light.
ive painted this using tablet, in artrage and painter. i did consult few refs for roses in the start, later few parts were painted from life and the rest, visualized/imagined, esp the mood.
my own composition, where i largely went for that particular ambience, an environment and the still life.

greetings..., "Night-life - Downtown", i went to capture a simple street scene at night, in the downtown area and this is the most common site to experience, at most places. for initial layouting/sketching i did consult/looked at few refs for shops etc. and couple of figures too. painted in artrage and photoshop, tablet.

hello there.... "Forlornly", is my recently finished painting, in photoshop and painter, using tablet. here, i went with a slightly different approach and lighting, closer to cinematic fashion rather than what i usually do, though i love this as well.... ive kept it simple yet strong and expressive and worked for a scene showing a mansion in a forlorn state but with a tinge of hope. went thru few refs at the time i was planning this, for mountains and the building. but didnt follow anything and composed it according to my own taste. the mood, light, time and composition are all self visualized.

greetings.., this is fhe first painting/concept of a series i plan to work on, series on snowy mountainscapes. this one showing a barren scene, of how exactly these landscapes will look like, hence wide angled, from distance. later i plan to zoom in for various spots and will be including more to watch. so this one is a start... the idea came to me from someone wanting concept art for a project. if things work out well, i might give it shot.
i did go thru few refs images to get an idea of these locations and used couple of them to look at while making initial sketches. tablet used and painted in photoshop.

hello there..., a fun piece, very rapidly done. im sure all are familiar with the character i went for. i did use a ref, but only to look at while painting, i didnt really go for exact resemblance/replica and u might find it little different (intentionally) at some places, esp with hair and smile. personality/character was what i was after.
